In this 3D computer animation from Clínica Médico Dental Pardiñas (http://j.mp/cPardinas) we discuss the need for premolar removals in some orthodontic instances. There are instances where for variables of lack of location, activates teeth to show up in a negative setting. To repair this scenario, it could be required to extract the premolars, obtaining this technique location to reposition teeth in a proper setting. #orthodontics #braces #dentalextractions Register for our Youtube network http://bit.ly/suscribeteCP EVEN MORE 3D VIDEOS in English http://j.mp/dentistry3D Follow us also on: Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/clinicapardinas Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/clinicapardinas Twitter: https://twitter.com/ClinicaPardinas Linkedin: https://www.linkedin.com/company/clinica-pardinas Tiktok: https://vm.tiktok.com/ZSH7hMJb/

  1. Do not get ur teeth extracted for relieving crowding.. bare warning.. I’m suffering a lot .

    1. @HMD ‘ do u have bimax protrusion as well ? I mean do ur teeth have a protruding profile ? If no , I’d say its best to take a second opinion..n ask if no extraction treatments are available ! Believe me I’m immensely suffering. Don’t do this to urself.

    2. @FBI SECRET AGENT palate expension is better than removing permanent teeth. a lot of people are saying it’s fine when they’ve only just had the teeth removed. I’m suffering with so many jaw problems 7 years after extractions, it catches up to you. most orthodontists are all about the aesthetics, find someone who will take into account your optimal bite

  2. hi does it feel unconfy on tongue after the braces off due to pulling inside and make the mouth narrow, or difficult in breathing coz i saw some comments that they’re having difficult in breathing due to extractions and pulling inside then the tongue became narrow and their tongue was slightly bended inside due to narrowing of mouth pls response thank you new subs here

    1. Just the opposite, a proper orthodontic treatment should improve the function, both on breathing and chewing, besides the aesthetics. Usually the treatment makes the palate wider, not narrower.

  3. DON’T LET THEM EXTRACT YOUR TEETH!! Do your research on extraction/retraction orthodontics and the long term harm it does.

    1. well we also dont have a choice uk? for us people who have over crowded teeth this is the only way……

    2. @sarah hartwell You should know expansion works well when you’re young around 7-15 years old..if expansion can be use on older person like me then I wouldn’t want my tooth to be extract too..

    3. Watch Dr Bill hang’s videos,

(He talks about how bad this is, he stopped doing Extraction/Retraction 30 years ago)

Also look at Karin Badt’s Article

“Extracting Premolar Teeth for Orthodontic treatment: the risks”

  4. The same thing is gonna happen with me on both sides, so 4 teeth to taken out. 1 teeth taken out already and 2nd will be taken out tomorrow

    1. what do you mean harmed by extractions? I had bad extractions when I was younger, four teeth removed

  5. I got 2 of my teeths extracted today and get the other two teeths will be extracted on next Saturday . Tbh it didn’t pain at all also the dentist was really sweet 🥺💜
I’ll update once the working of anesthesia gets over 😋
Edit:- it didn’t pain at all (•‿•)

    1. It depends on the case, but nowadays we don’t need to do extractions in the majority of the cases.

    2. @Dentalk! Why? Are the claims about extraction and it’s side effects true??

    3. On a British clinic’s site, they mentioned of a girl they Treated NON-EXTRACTION with DAMON Braces in under a year,

She initially was gonna have NHS Braces, but the NHS Orthocuntist REFUSED Non-Extraction, insisting she “needed” 4 teeth out, and the Extraction “treatment” was estimated to take nearly 2 years.

Shame on that NHS Orthocuntist, for even insisting on Extractions….

  6. My case I feel is extreme, I need to get 13 teeth pulled, so far I’ve already gotten 9, the ninth tooth was an extra one called supernumerary, so I also needed to get the second molars removed, I’m frustrated that braces alone take 2-3 years but at the same time it was either this or wait for infection and have my teeth fall out so 😅

  7. If you are suffering from symptoms after extraction, there are support groups like “extraction orthodontics reversal” and “orthodontics negligence victims” on Facebook

  8. I want to ask is it safe to get braces? Do they cause any long term damage? Do your teeth become very weak after braces? Also does it have any impact on the nervous system ?

  9. I used to have an open bite (5mm) and most orthodontists had suggested extractions since I couldn’t afford surgery. So I opted for a camouflage technique instead, osseous genioplasty to fix my protruding chin, 4 premolar extractions (wisdom teeth had already been extracted), lingual braces with tads for 2 years. I now have wire attachments behind my front teeth and wear a retainer for 12 hours a day and a tongue crib to better help me position my tongue. It has been worth it.

  10. Wtf i got my 2 teeths extracted today and honestly i didn’t feel any pain at all! And if u guys are going to get ur teeth extracted please don’t worry. I was crying before extraction of my teeth but when the procedure was going on i was shocked i didn’t feel any pain!
